The Gulbenkian Gardens

If you’re wondering where you’ll be staying, Book With Blu puts you right in the heart of Avenidas Novas, one of Lisbon’s most desirable, central and refreshingly flat neighborhoods. Yes, flat. In a city famous for its hills, your legs will thank you!

You’ll be just 5 minutes from El Corte Inglés, Lisbon’s major department store, think Selfridges, Harrods, Bloomingdale’s or Macy’s with shopping, a supermarket, gourmet food hall and plenty of everyday essentials all under one roof. São Sebastião Metro Station is just as close, giving you easy access to the rest of Lisbon, while the airport is just 20 minutes away by car.

But what makes the neighborhood special is everything you can do without going very far. You’ll have great restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, gyms, yoga and Pilates studios and co-working spaces all within walking distance, while the beautiful Gulbenkian Gardens and museum are practically on your doorstep. Eduardo VII Park is also nearby when you want green space, a morning walk or simply somewhere to feel grounded.

Avenidas Novas gives you the best of both worlds: central Lisbon without being in the middle of the tourist crowds. It’s elegant, residential, well connected and easy to navigate, so you can head into Chiado, Príncipe Real, Alfama or Bairro Alto when you want the energy, then come back to somewhere that feels a little calmer.

Everything you need close by. The rest of Lisbon within easy reach.
